My Impossible List

The Impossible List is a list of goals when people read would advise you to stop flying in the air and stay ground. It is not a bucket list but an evolving list of things you want to achieve as you strike off the old ones. The list gets bigger & bigger with time. It is focused on how I want to live my life & documents the journey as and when an action has been taken.

I discovered the concept from Thomas Frank’s video, which was inspired by Joel Runyon who is the author of it. You can read more about it here: The Impossible List is NOT a Bucket List.

๐ŸŽฏ Current Focus:

  • Write 5 blog post/article on this blog (1 done)
  • Read 4 books in a month

  • Read “Zero To One” (Jan 15, 2021)
  • Walk 10k steps for 15 days straight (Jan 15, 2021)
  • Read “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck” (Jan 8, 2021)
  • Log food in Healthify for 7 days straight (Jan 7, 2020)
  • Read 2 books in a month (Dec 2020)

๐Ÿงฌ Life Goals:

  • Maintain a loving, inspiring, and happy relationship with my amazing wife Geetika (6 years and counting)
  • Gain Financial Independence and retire Mr. Money Mustache-style by 40 (save $1 million dollars and have the option to live off interest and investments)
  • Support 100 children’s education in my lifetime
    • Support 1 child’s education in 2021
  • Meet and have Dinner with Ratan Tata
  • Own a house with a backyard garden, swimming pool, & barbecue.

  • Write affirmation
  • Drink 2 liters of water/day for 7 days straight (Jan 7, 2020)
  • Log food in Healthify for 7 days straight (Jan 7, 2020)
    • Plan Macros to lose 0.5-1 kilo/week
  • Do the bed immediately after waking up for 7 days straight (Jan 7, 2020)
  • Log expenses in Spendee every day (Jan 7, 2020)
  • No Screen for 30 mins after waking up for 7 days straight (Jan 7, 2020)

๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ Health / Fitness / Sports Goals:

  • Reduce 5 kilos in 3 months
  • Walk 10k steps for 7 days straight (Jan 7, 2020)
    • Walk 10k steps for 15 days straight (Jan 15, 2020)
    • Walk 8kms in an hour
    • Walk 1L steps in a week
  • Learn to do 1 proper push-up
  • Learn to do 1 classic pull-up
  • Re-join Karate Dojo
  • Participate in a 5k run
  • Start Playing Golf
    • Play Golf (at least 9 holes or hit 100 balls at the range) once a week for a month
    • Get a Golf Handicap at KGA

    • Get a PADI Certification
  • Bungee Jumping (at least once in a lifetime)
  • Sing a solo Karaoke
  • Harvest honey from the honeycomb

  • Attend SXSW
  • Attend CES
  • Attend Mobile World Congress
  • Attend Formula-1 Race
  • Attend a Trade Fair in China
  • Attend Wimbledon Match (preferably of Roger Fedder)

  • Visit all states & union territories in India (19 states & 5 union territories)
  • Road Trip across India with my wife Geetika
  • Go on a Solo Trip for min 2 days
  • Attend Khub Mela
  • Attend Tomorrowland Music Festival
